A potentially controversial idea I had is to simplify the shading on the sprites and some other tiny changes. Just for the sake of difference.

Something I just whipped up.
Few days ago I had a thought "Don't I get germs on my pants when I pull them up after using the toilet, then get them on my hands if I touch my pants?" and now my life is ruined.
