The arrival of E

Chapter 1

Tails’ Nightmare

One day, Miles “Tails” Prower was taking a stroll down the beautiful, green hills, but little did he know that within the next 48 hours, he would almost die. Miles “Tails” Prower The Fox was taking a nice stroll through the lush green hills where he lived. Tails was born with a birth defect which gave him two tails, many people made fun of him for this. As a result, his nickname was Tails. Many creatures lived in the green hills. Such as tails friends, Ricky The Squirrel, and Sonic The Hedgehog.

As Tails finally stepped foot in his house, he was greeted by his babysitter, Mrs. Jeniffer. 

“Hi Tails, it's getting late, you should go to bed.” she said. 

Once Tails went to bed that night, Tails couldn't help but feel unnerved for some reason as he fell asleep.

The Nightmare Begins.

Next morning, Tails woke up and got ready for the day. Except something was wrong. No one was home. Tails, seemingly unfazed by this, went to the kitchen to eat. But all the food was rotten. Tails was now starting to get suspicious. But his investigation was quickly cut short when he heard a blood-curdling scream. He looked out the window.

“Oh.. oh my god… W-what happened?” Tails said as he looked in horror at the scene outside. The once beautiful, lush, green grass was now dead and soulless. The flowers were leaning over, soaked in blood. Ricky was being hung from a palm tree. His eyes were gone. A black ooze was dripping from the now butchered corpse. But Ricky wasn’t the only one. A grotesque display of corpses was scattered everywhere. All the woodland creatures had been mercilessly slaughtered. Tails was disgusted by the scene that he stood before. Suddenly, Tails heard a voice,      “ W o u L D     Y O u     L i k e     T o    p L a Y   w I t H     m E ? ” Tails was horrified. The voice sounded distorted, it also sounded familiar in a way. Before Tails could continue trying to figure out who the voice belonged to, he saw his best friend Sonic in the distance. Sonic was leaning up against a palm tree, his back was faced towards tails and his gloves stained black and red. Without thinking twice, Tails ran towards him. 

Sonic turned around. Tails stopped dead in his tracks. This wasn’t Sonic. At least, not anymore. Tails studied the bizzare creature. Its eyes were obscured by a strange shadow-like substance. The entire left side of his body was also covered in it. The Demonic Looking creature had what seemed to be a massive X-shaped scar on it’s chest. Tails started to hear disembodied whispers. “E Has Arrived.” They repeated over and over. Tails took a step back from the creature, now revealed to be Executor. But the massive X-shaped scar then unveiled itself to be a mouth. It opened, uncovering the hundreds of needle sized razor-sharp teeth. A slender black gooey arm protruded out of the mouth and grabbed Tails by the neck.

Then E spoke.

“L eT s     p L aY    Hi d E   aNd    S e E K .”

It was now obvious that the disembodied voice belonged to E. Then Tails blacked out. Then he woke up in a filthy dungeon. “W-Where am I-?” Tails said, now getting up off the floor. The voice in his head reminded him.

“Hi d E   aNd  S e E K”

Tails heard footsteps, so he dove under a nearby pile of rotten food.

“C oM e    oN,    t Ai ls,   d O n t    m A k e    mE    c O mE    f iN d    y Ou. ”

E said, as he walked past the pile of rotten food. After a while, Tails stuck his head out. No one was there. Tails jolted out of the pile and into the hall. He was in a labyrinth. Over the course of 2 hours, Tails navigated the maze-like dungeon. After a while, tails found an exit. It was the angel island. But something was wrong. The whole island was on fire. Tails navigated the burning nightmare until he saw E again. E chased Tails in an attempt to kill him. But Tails outran him. Until… Tails was met with a wall. Too high for him to Fly up using his tails as a propeller. E was closing in… until…
