A small dev update!


Hello and welcome to our first little dev update!

First of all we hope you are all well and having a wonderful christmas season so far! We here at MelonFish Studios are hard at work, trying to release our game on shedule. With this first dev update we wanted to share a few important things with you!

First of all, we decided against releasing the full price game before christmas this year. Instead, we will release a completly free demo! This way, we want to get feedback from you and polish the game as much as we can before releasing the full title on here in the beginning of 2022. Furthermore, we just started setting up a steam page for our release on valves plattform which will go hand in hand with our release here on gamejolt in the beginning of 2022!

We hope you look forward to test out our game over the holidays and wish you all the best!

Another sneak peek into one of the new minigames we are working on!

Are you beach body ready? Because PEARY sure is! He is one of the new Skins coming with our big summer update. More on that update soon. Until then: Get in shape! No matter what shape.

Feel uncomfortable and wrap a towel over your hips... Because we added a "Locker Room" environment for 3D viewing your characters in the shop! Over are the times of them floating in the endless blue void of nothingness.

Our big SUMMERJAM content update just went live! Jump into 3 new and refreshing minigames and unlock 3 new characters (one of them beign the adroable DAD from the webcomic My Dad is Dracula)

We hope youll enjoy the update! :)

This has to be a costume, right? PEARY is one of the three new rivalists coming with our big SUMMER JAM update! 🍐🎉 Update will go live on the 23rd so stay tuned!

Have you unlocked "A.R.R." yet? No? You should hurry! Nobody knows how long his batteries will last. Oh and please, make sure he doesn't get himself wet. Would not end well. For both him and the fishes around him.

Oh, btw! REEF RIVALS is now out on gamejolt as well! Grab your friends and have yourself a nice time at the reef! Please note: Online play is sadly only avaible on Steam but who needs to play online when you can sit right next to each other?!

Big news everyone! Our first big content update is going to release soon! You can look forward to new unlockable Rivalists, new minigames, and a very special guest coming to the reef for the big party! More details coming soon...
