Hello friends! I've been working on this game pretty steadily, and I'm happy to say it's all coming together very nicely. I've had the pleasure of working with some really talented people to bring it all together, and (dare I say it) the main campaign is as good as done! But now, I run into a small problem.
The scope of this game has grown a bit more than it maybe should've (?), hence why development time is so long. If 2.0 was just a simple remaster of 1.0, then it would've been out by now. But that's just not the case, there is a lot of things I overhauled and changed- and a lot of extra content I'd like to make.
That's where the issue is. For those who know me, I'm sure you're aware that I'm anything but a fast developer - thats why any of this is a problem at all. This extra content is a lot more complicated than the main campaign is, and I know for a fact it'd extend development time by at least several months by itself. Now, there are two options:
I can either finish up the main campaign, add the custom night, all that good stuff. Then release that, and release the extra content I want to make as updates somewhere down the line. If I do this, the game will likely release this year. There will still be a lot of content, obviously- much more than 1.0 had, so no worries about that.
ORRRR I could finish all the extra stuff before releasing the game. As I said, this would extend development by at least a couple months, if not more- but it would have a lot more stuff to do on release.
And since I'm a really indecisive person, I'm leaving this choice (at least partially) up to you folk! Feel free to let me know what you think, anything is helpful. Thanks for reading, and regardless of what you pick...
The Makkers aren't done yet.
Have a nice day :3
