Hi everyone! Legrand Legacy’s launch on JANUARY 24th is fast approaching and we are cautiously happy to report that everything is going well at the studio. Development, localization, and other launching prep work are well under way.

Today, we have a special news to share with you.

From the beginning, we wanted Legrand Legacy to be an homage to classic JRPGs, so the game has to be enjoyable, aesthetically delightful, and also sounds beautiful. But more than that, we wanted the game to have a voice that truly captures the spirit of Legrand. We searched high and low for that perfect voice, until one day, during one of our trips, almost by chance, we finally found her…

Beautiful inside out, with an ethereal voice to boot, we proudly introduce… EMI EVANS! Here’s a sneak preview of what we have in store for you.

Sigh, don’t you think she sounds beautiful even when she’s just speaking?

We immediately fell head over heels with Emi Evans the moment we listened to Nier Automata’s soundtrack. Her chaos language is sublime, enigmatic, and gorgeous beyond words. To be honest, it’s an honor for us that she will be singing a song for Legrand Legacy.

We were lucky enough to sit down with Emi Evans and how she ended up singing for Nier Automata was truly an inspiring story for aspiring artists everywhere, including us. She’s living proof that NOTHING can replace years of commitment, a ton of moxie, and a dash of luck.
