Hey everyone!

Firstly, really quickly regarding the next game update on sewers; it's going really well and a lot has changed! It should be awesome. No word on a release date yet.

Secondly and the reason for this article, I'd like to address my view on fangames of Sinister Turmoil. Recently there has been a lot of talk around this and I know there have been some conflicts in past months regarding this topic. First of all let me clear something up: I cannot stop anyone from making a fangame of a fangame of a game. Obviously when it comes to fangames, no one owns anything in legal terms. So if someone really wants to make a fangame of Sinister Turmoil I can't take anything down, I don't have the power to nor do I have the energy to pursue means of getting them taken down beyond just asking.

However, I would like to explain the reason I am not a fan of fangames of Sinister Turmoil. The reason people (generally) make fangames of popular fangames is to gain popularity themselves. While I understand why people do this, I think it's wrong. Clickbait in general is just wrong. I'm not saying that this is the same thing but doing something for clicks in the first place is ethically not right. My main point when it comes to this is that people should just make games based off of characters and concepts they themselves have created. First and foremost because it's a much more rewarding experience when people enjoy ideas that have come from your own head.

I guess my final thoughts on this is that; if you're going to make a FNaF fangame, just be as original as possible. Make something even scarier and better than Sinister Turmoil. Make the next TJoC or FNaC.

I know this topic didn't really need to be addressed but I just wanted to get my thoughts out there so that people are clear on where I stand. No I do not have legal rights over this title, so I have no power to take things down. All I ask is that you consider making an original fangame if you're going to make one.

And if you want to do something because you like Sinister Turmoil, draw a picture or something.
