Beach and Ace wonder down town, chatting away.

Ace recently found Beach injured in the woods, and with no recollection of where he is Ace started teaching him about the place.

Soon after talking for a while, the sun starts to set. Beach looks up.

“I want to be up there..”

“What?” Ace bewildered.

“I... used to be up there” Beach has a noticeable change in his tone, “i was free.”

“you can be free here!”

“But its too complicated! Up there isnt”

“Oh... y-you can stay with me for a while if you want.”

“Im gonna go back up there” Beach stares into the sky and spreads his wings, but they’re injured so he collapses them. “OW OW OOW!!” Beach falls to his knees due to the pain; Ace steps to his side.

“You alright?” Ace worried, he places a hand on Beach’s shoulder.

“M-maybe im not... going b-back... my home...”, Beach genuinely looks like he is going to break down, “what will my dad think?! My sister? Grandma??”

Ace kneels down as Beach starts balling his eyes out. confused, Ace just hugs Beach, which he embraces and even wraps his wings around Ace; even though they hurt.

Ace simply cradles Beach until he calms down.

“You ok now?” Ace asks worried, “you just... broke down”

“Yeah... i-I’m f-f-fine” Beach’s mind trails off, Ace anxious he pokes Beach’s cheek.

After Ace gets Beach to a calm enough level for him to get up they start walking to Ace’s house, letting Beach lean on him.
