this feller right here is our beloved "Present Fear", though i prefer just calling him "Fear"

he's basically what we have rn

however, his design is bound to change soon

it won't change much, and will stay similiar

but it'll be some nice design changes, such as replacing his waist jacket by a belt

removing his earmuffs

giving him a strand of blue hair

and the color of his beanie will be fixed

after those changes happen, what we call "Present Fear" will just be classified as "Beta Fear", which we'll discuss about now !

here we have "Beta Fear"

he is the current art for the pngtuber i use !

and he will soon also be what we today call "Present Fear"

just so i don't have to create another category for the design we just talked about

since Beta and current Present don't have many differences other than their eyes and artstyle, that's why current Present will be classified as Beta once we get the new Present

not much to talk about Beta other than him just being my current pngtuber

and also being the fear stare meme

(yes the Fear stare meme is NOT Present Fear, it's actually just Beta Fear)

here on this side we have "Alpha Fear"

now old time Fear fans will recognize him as the pngtuber i used for my two DevGamm Hello Neighbor gameplays

there isn't much story to him, and he basically has the same clothing as Beta Fear, aside from the dark colors being more grayish than what we have today, and the artstyle being inferior to what we have today too

and we have reached "Old Fear" !

OId Fear originates from the first ever art of Fear that i've ever made

with it being this one:

the lore for this Fear is WAY different than what we have nowadays

Old Fear had cat ears, which were from a failed experiment

he was trying to mutate a human to give it cat features

however he didn't really get anyone to test it, so he gave up

until someone ended up leaving the only injection of the cat dna on his chair

and Fear sat on it and got mutated. (dumb ass lore ik)

he also had a disease that made him EXTREMELY sensitive to the cold

however i didn't really like that as the time went on, so that idea was also scrapped

his outfit also didn't make sense at all

because if he's sensitive to the cold, then why is he wearing a thin shirt with 3 holes in it???

and where's his jacket?

this design was also inspired by my old roblox avatar

when i was too poor to afford cool stuff

this being the old avatar that Old Fear was based on

and this being the new avatar that all the other Fears after Old Fear were based on

now we can also mention another thing

this Fear is the ONLY Fear that is NOT aroace !!

looking at the old ref sheet we can clearly notice that he has a pansexual flag on his beanie

(note that the rest of the ref sheet was cut out for being extremely cringe </3)

and the dumbest thing about this version of Fear

was the fact that he was afraid of SPONGEBOB

he has SPONGEPHOBIA,.,.,.,..,

stupid ass lore

and to top it all off, we have our buddy "Brick"

now this is the FIRST ever version of Fear

in this art, it's being used his redesign/adaptation

that i decided to make since doing the ACTUAL Brick would be kinda boring and too similiar to the other Fears

i don't have a picture of my first ever avatar so i can only describe it

Brick had pitch white skin instead of grey skin, and a orange beanie with long black hair

he had the ifeelbricky clothes, that covered his torso and legs

and he had the roblox silly smile or whatever that thing is called

now for his redesign, i made his hair be pitch white like his skin, and i made the beanie become blue like his clothes

and i also extended the bricky clothes to cover up his arms

i will probably redesign him again actually, whenever i have free time

i plan to remove the clothes from his arms again, to be more accurate to the OG Brick, and i plan to make his mouth have a black liquid always dripping out

i picked on the horror aspect for this version of Fear simply because everytime i think of Brick, i remember that i only played horror games with him

so in his honor i decided to make him a horror character

unlike the other Fears too, he isn't 5'1

he is actually 6'11, and has animal-like legs and instead of a hand or fingers, he only has two circles as his hands

here is the redesign i drew for Brick

now we can call this outdated already, because of the changes i mentioned that i'll do later

basically ill just make his arms not have the ifeelbricky clothes, i'll make his mouth leaking, and i'll probably make his hair twice as longer as Fear's hair

so keep ya eyes open to whenever the final Brick redesign comes out

now of course i do have more Fear versions coming soon

but i am pretty sure that these are the last time-related Fears that were based on Fear's earlier versions, because i don't have any plans on redesigning Fear after i release the new Present Fear

he'll stick with his final redesign probably forever when it comes out, so we won't have any more old Fear variants to discuss about, and we'll just keep these ones we all know and love
