Touhou Fangame - The Last Comer (Playthrough not mine, but by Jaimers (thanks Jaimers))

Man, this game is released quite a long time as a Danmakufu script, but still, is possibly one of the inspiration for adding Christian motifs to my game, and despite I haven't play it yet, it is surely amazing.

If you see closer, some of my character concepts are somewhat influenced by the game:

  • If you notice very closely, Megumi is somewhat similar to Michel from The Last Comer. Both are angels, both wear blue, both carry a sword, both have light-colored hair, and their eye color is considered to be a color negative of each other (try reversing Michel's eye color and compare it to Megumi's, and you will see they are quite similar). Also, Megumi's Thaumaturgy Attack (Spell Card) has a similar name to Michel's first Spell Card.

  • Jaki Akuzai, the final boss of Daemonic Affright, despite she hasn't have any artwork yet, I imagine her as a person whose appearance is influenced by that of Mumumu from TLC (The Last Comer).

  • Well, initially, Youki Senketsu, the vampire character in Daemonic Affright, is meant to be influenced in appearance by Corin Charite, the vampire character from TLC.

Man, so what do you think? Is TLC an inspiration for the whole Claire: Chronicles of the Carmine Blood series, or I just pick up Christian motifs and complied them into my series because of NGE (Neon Genesis Evangelion)? Leave a comment in the comment section below!
