Alpha 2 done!


So i got alpha 2 done today! after weeks of hard work it is done. The new version is a HUGE upgrade from the last one.

New things in 2.0:

  • New UI

  • Majors

  • +6 new buildings

  • Updated menu

  • Pause/play feature

  • Improved saving/loading system

  • More achievements

  • Nuke

  • You can now change the sound volume

  • Day/night cycle

  • Gamejolt Api done

  • Launcher with update feature(not released yet)

  • power system

Changed things in 2.0:

  • Factories gold production is nerfed.

  • Factories now require power to produce anything

  • Houses have different look

  • Map improvments

  • Lots of nerfig

  • Changed fonts

The update changed most of the game and i think i will run some more alpha tests around alpha 3. In alpha 5 or so i might upload a gamejolt alpha but i wont do that before the game is ready to be released. Screenshots will be updated tomorow or so.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
