Alpha, here we come.

I’ve been thinking about creating this game for a while - and to be honest, it’s been a long journey, getting to a point in Game Development, where I feel comfortable to take on a lot of the tasks, that I just wouldn’t feel comfortable with before. Small journeys/projects/etc have led me to the point where I wanted to really focus on a project that I’ve thought about doing for a very long time… and here’s an Alpha of it.

Of course, I game myself a deadline, and figured I wouldn’t meet it, because I always feel like nothing is ever complete… especially when it comes to my game ideas. I decided, though, this time to just move forward, make a plan, and push through until it was done. Of course, there are small things I would love to spend time tweaking, and if I had the money, hire out positions to do more artwork, but I just don’t have the finances to do so.

Ultimately, I’m very happy where this alpha is, very happy to have completed something that is a compilation of almost all my own talent (thanks to Mitch, whom provided a lot of the starting artwork, I wish I could pay you continually to work on this). Thankfully, I’ve gotten more comfortable with pixel art, and animation, so I was able to keep moving forward with things. I have a lot of goals/desires for this… but at the end of the day, I’m hoping when it’s all done/finished, I’ll be able to make some kind of money off of it, to help pay down student loans.

Anyways… if you’ve read this far… I truly hope you enjoy the game so far, there’s more where this came from!
