This one took forever to upload...anyways,
this HUGE update is centered around QoL and audio improvements!
Changelog :
-Improved the M3, M1, and M2 OST.
-All weapons have gained the ability to be aimed with and have been visually improved while running.
-Shotgun range has been decreased from 800 to 500.
-New Player sounds
-New indicator for low health.
-Added a stamina system courtesy of 2S!K Productions
this is to balance out the gameplay, it isn't very intrusive but reminds the player to slow down and not to rush into every situation.
-Added a headshot system, if the head of most enemies takes more than a certain amount of damage in a rapid succession the head will combust and instantly kill the enemy.
-Replaced the hitboxes with Pixel by pixel hit detection.
You can no longer hit enemies from aiming above their head or around them. To help balance this feature the accuracy of all weapons have been increased and replaced mostly with recoil. So now you'll have to aim. :)
-Fixed some texture inconsistencies so different enemy types are more recognizable.
-New crosshair for all weapons.
-Made enemies a bit bloodier
this is a temporary change to textures as the models themselves are still placeholders. But for now this should definitely help to sell the atmosphere a bit more.
-Player pain sound will no longer play every single time you get hit
It's still common, but now there's less "AGH, AGH, AGH, AGH, AGH, AGHAGHAGH"
-Slight changes to some maps to reduce repetition.
-Remade M3 from scratch
-Removed the Radar, it was useless.
-Made Machinegunner Militia a tad less responsive to danger compared to others, this is because they're a rapid fire hitscanner, and being shot by them before you can even see them is annoying. (obviously)
-Changed a few noises to make more sense, such as buttons.
-Pistol Militia movement is now consistent
-New UI Text
Known issues :
-Pressing reload button and aim button at the same time will cause the weapon to disappear and freeze in the aiming state.
It's not super gamebreaking, but it does soft-lock the player until they reload a save or restart the game. I'm doing what I can to fix this, until then, do NOT press them at the same time!
-Enemies that have battle chatter still have a weird audio glitch still only occasionally.
