.......I might take a break from Underspell. Let’s face it, it’s barely that popular. Most people seem to use to use just so their posts (that have nothing to do with the AU, btw) can get more likes. Yeah, there’s a “not related to AU” channel for a reason, but gosh, it’s practically the most used channel! And half the time, whenever I post some random fact about SB, I get the impression that nobody cares, since there aren’t a lot of comments. Some are my posts are just straight up ignored. The Q&A channel was essentially dead, but it was only revived once I had to point it out. And as for the fan content.....well, there’s not a lot of it. Tbf, I hadn’t drawn any references yet, so fan art might be more inconvenient to some. Also, the community is still pretty new, so maybe I’m just beating myself up.
As @skilledpixel reminded me, patience is key, and that is what I need more of. Things take time to develop, and to get more recognition. So...idk, maybe I’ll do more art about my AU, not just constantly talking about it. No, I’m not planning to turn it into a game, however disappointing that may be. Frankly, I’m not interested in that. Besides, I don’t even know how to code.
@SmudgedVolt ![]()
suggested that I make comics about it. Traditional, digital, long ones, short ones could work. Those are all good ideas.
Anyway, despite the community having almost 80 followers, I still feel like there’s barely any support from anyone, since almost nobody is actually contributing. But....that’s ok. As of right now, there’s not much reason to care about the story. I’ll just try out some new stuff, and see how it goes.
Yes....I’ll do that.
Patience is key
Thanks, Jana and Smudged.
