This place is one of the cities where you could possibly start in FFXIV if you picked gladiator, thaumaturge, or puligist in the character creator for your character's class. This place has a god being worshipped named Nald'Thal. Along with that this places ruler is the Sultana known as Nanamo. This picture is showing the aetheryte(teleport) plaza in uldah. This place has an allegiance with 3 other cities known as Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, and Ishgard but we will get to those another day. The Sultana is great friends with someone named Raubahn who was a poor person who fought in the coliseum for money which she would often cheer for. Once raubahn ended his coliseum killing streak and became a guy with a decent amount of money the Sultana ended up getting him in da government and promoting him to a high rank. Back in the 1.0 days(2010-2012) the introductory cutscene to this place would have the father of a character named minfilia die while another character thancred was really trying to protect this innocent person but failed in doing so. Thancred would see himself as responsible for the death of this poor person's father since he couldnt save him so that would eventually lead him to join a group that minfilia would found WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY later known as the Scions of the Seventh Dawn which our main character joins in A Realm Reborn (2013-2015 still officially playable today unlike 1.0) after getting a letter of reccomendation from their starting city(lets use uldah for this since we are talking about uldah) for killing an ancient trickster known as an ascian and gets letter of recommendation from 2 of the other big cities known as Gridania and Limsa Lominsa. since we are focused on uldah i gotta skip a bunch of story stuff that happens outside of it. next thing i can talk about related to story is that you go to the copperbell mines here as part of a job from the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Soon later we have issues with a local tribe known as the Amaljaa who keep on killing innocent people. we nearly beat them but now they decided to kidnap the main character and bring them to a place in the middle of nowhere called the Bowl of Embers where they SUMMONED THEIR FUCKING GOD. THE MAIN CHARACTER SOMEHOW BEAT IFRIT THE DEMON FIRE GOD ALL BY THEMSELVES AND THEN BEAT THE AMALJAA AFTERWARD. anyways skipping way ahead to the end of main a realm reborn rauhbahn finds you and makes you go after the imperials who have made a death creature machine thing called Ultima who sucked out power from Ifrit and two other gods who we will get too and you beat him. Anyways skipping to the end of a post a realm reborn the sultana is meeting with you while the scions and the seventh dawn are having dinner with uldah government officials when all of a sudden the sultana drinks from her cup and fucking dies to poison. Teledji from downstairs hear the sound of someone falling to the floor and comes upstairs to see that you are with the dead sultana so obviously he blames it on you and the people here that are associated with you aka the scions of the seventh dawn and you all have to fucking escape for your lives but in reality it was Teledji who poisoned the Sultana and also fucking cut off Rabauhns arm and put him in prison in a place called Halatali due to his connections to the Sultana and he doesnt want that. And thats what leads into our cast of friends escaping to Ishgard which btw is not allied with the other cities at this time.

Anyways moving on from story finally lets get to what players do here. Selling shit mostly. Buuuuuuuuut if you play on the Balmung server a lot of people do questionable shit there. The song that plays at night is called 'Sultana Dreaming' and as for the day theme i could give less of a shit.
