Ok HEAR ME OUT, i mostly love playing counter strike for some reason, and why this game is top 1? but let me say that, CS wasn't a official game it was a online half life mod which in year 2000 valve bought the game and decided to make it as official, also 1.6 is the best CS version but now in the present we'll when valve released CS:GO it exploded popularity (mostly i gonna ignore the hate of this) also back in april 2022.... the game reached 1.8 Million players and why this game became so popular? it suprasses games, including lethal company, BG3 and dota 2 (my god i forgot how this game is no fun because no updates) we'll let me tell you that when CS2 was announced in march 22 2023 later on got released on 27 of setempber with the source 2 engine and i'm gonna say that.... it was chaotic and many people started quitting this game but good news for this the game still top 1 most played steam game like if you had the weak pc yeah that game will not run on the potato pc (unless valve needs low down the storage of this game)
