The years is 1918, the Russian revolution just broke out. In the original timeline, we know that the Red Army guided by the Bolsheviks (Which means "The Majority" in Russian) led by Lenin won. However, for the sake of the alternative timeline, we will make the White Army win. Them winning would be unrealistic due to the Bolsheviks having better armament; the big cities and the Industrial zone. However, like i said before, let's pretend they won somehow. The Bolshevik faction would have been disbanded, leaving the Mensheviks (Which means "The Minority" in Russian) the only ones in the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (RSDLP), and Lenin would have been exiled. Due to the death of the Tsar and his family, which is still canon in this timeline, the three major parties were:
1. The RSDLP
2. The Socialist Revolutionary Party
3. The Constitutional Democratic Party
Elections would soon be planned and the winners would be the Social Revolutionaries, which believe in Democratic and Agrarian Socialism. I don't exactly know what their plan for Russia would be, but i don't think they would mass industrialize just like Stalin did, and that's why the RSDLP would take over in the next elections and take a softer political approach through Social Democracy and, maybe, mass industrialization. This would lead to communism not spreading in the country and the allied powers noticing Germany's actions with disgust, since they initially saw it as an anti-communist nation that wouldn't be that much of a problem in the original timeline. For the sake of doing it, the Soviet Union will join the axis powers because of Hitler strategically building relations with them.
Next Chapter - Spain (And probably Japan)
