An explanation for Scary Mode

I think I saw some people thinking Scary Mode is supposed to make things harder, which really isn't the case. In fact, audio isn't really needed for this game except for Goofy and Ortensia. So here's an explanation of what this setting actually is:

You know how the two of Subwoofer's games, the original NBD and The Diner are so quiet? Well, for these two games (I'm assuming but this works) you're supposed to increase the volume of your computer to at least 30 to be able to hear things, but then the jumpscare sound would blast your ears.

This was the intention for this mode too. I wanted this game to take a little bit of Subwoofer's steps and take as much inspiration from NBD 1 and the april fools version of NBD 2 as possible. Besides, if this wasn't the intention I'd just call it "Quiet Mode" or "Bad Hearing Mode".

That is all. Thanks for coming to my little talk.
