AN UPDATE ON OPERATION SCARECROW:

Since 2017, the ScarecrowDev team have been dedicated to developing an experience that is groundbreaking, authentic, accessible and most importantly enjoyable. We are NOT a full time development team. The team mainly consists of me, Oscar - a single person, with others floating in and out. Obviously, nothing of the game has been shown yet and that is because what there is for me to show is not up to standard. The current build of the game is something that shouldn't be shown publicly as it is certainly not ready and not representative of what I aspire the product that the player gets in their hands to be.

A trailer was made due for release over Christmas, however it was scrapped due to the builds subpar graphical fidelity and overall optimization. As stated before, I DO NOT want to show this product while it is in a state of development that is still relatively experimental. The fundamentals have been placed, however there is a long road ahead to the finish line.

I regret announcing this game all the way back in September 2018 and promising playable builds open to the a small portion of the public throughout 2019. Unfortunately, due to creative and technical mishaps, this did not happen, and over a year later not one piece of the game has been shown, but I can promise you that screenshots, trailers and eventually playable pre-release versions of the game will be made available, but for now sit tight. I will be trying my best to keep everyone updated through dev blogs like these.

So, how hefty is the delay and when can you all expect to finally see footage and eventually get your hands on the game? Well, the answer to this is complicated. Life gets in the way of many hobbies and passions, and this is one of those things where my obligations come first. Not to say that this isn't one of my obligations, but it isn't of high priority anymore as life progresses. I'm hoping to rework and release the reveal trailer later this year, with some first in-game screenshots to follow. As for a playable build, I'm hoping to release a limited release Cooperative Pre-Alpha Demo sometime in the first half of 2021 before moving on to less limited, full experience Alpha's and Beta's that will include the games primary focus - PvP.

I apologise for the continuous delays, but I am trying my best to create the most enjoyable yet immersive experience possible!
