So, I've been working on a DDLC mod for quite a while now. I thought DDLC was an awesome game, and it didn't take long for me to start coming up with ideas.

The Great Dreamer follows Proton, a vast alteration of DDLC's MC. Proton is still Sayori's childhood friend, and Proton is still invited to join the club by said best friend. But from there, Proton can grow closer to one of the girls in his new club... or Proton will discover what's going on behind the scenes, and when the time comes, will enact revenge on the person who tore the most important thing in the world from his grip.

The Great Dreamer takes inspiration from Doom, Shonen Anime and Manga, and whatever else happens to be cluttering my ADHD brain. I often find that DDLC mods try too hard to be realistic, and The Great Dreamer isn't trying to be unrealistic most of the time, but there are also many absurd anime moments that I find a lot of DDLC mods lack.

If Monika is your favorite and you can't stand the idea of anything happening to her, or you're simply not interested, that's cool too. There are 7 routes in the game, and 4 of them are more on the wholesome side, allowing you to protect the girls from those who would do them harm. The other routes however... well, you'll just have to wait and see, won't you?
