Announcing v1.1.0

So first off, if you’ve played Super Haystack Challenge I thank you! It was a fun game to build & I am excited that some of you got entertainment out of it! However I am not 100% finished with Super Haystack Challenge! There were some things that I wanted to fix & include from the start but due to Ludum Dare entree deadlines, I couldn’t, but nothing is to stop my now that it’s over! :D

Here are some expected changes for:

Optimization - The game from all the reports I’ve gotten runs pretty smoothly, but I plan to optimize it a bit more for v 1.1.0 to run even better on more hardware! Especially the larger mazes!
Adding Credits - Though I did most of the work myself, I think its important to still give credits to everyone no matter the size of their role :D
Exit only on Main Menu Screen - I’ve actually been slowly trying to beat the game myself & I find that it’s instinct to press esc to go back, but if you’re anywhere on the Main Menu when you press esc, it quits the game & is quite frustrating. v1.1.0 will have that fixed!
Full Controller Support - I actually play best withe a Gamepad Controller, & so I plan to add full controller support so that people like myself don’t have to switch back & fourth with mouse, keyboard, & gamepad when playing!

& that is all that I have planned for v1.1.0, which might actually be the final version by the looks of it! If you happen to have any change requests, please let me know! I’ll look into adding it to v1.1.0 or futher versions!

Thanks for your time, I’ll see you at v1.1.0 :)

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Rockin the Guitar, an Axe like Guitar I made for my Uni project

not the greatest house, but it's a house! :D

Here's a Fredbear sprite i made in Aseprite! I'm pretty proud of this!

(Btw, sorry for the double post! I'll try to post less)

Got some fun collectibles in our game, Path of Kami!
