might make for a fun exercise though
and also i can use it to make mediocre games 😎 in all seriousness though it's coming along fairly well, some simple z culling and plane partitioning so the rendering doesn't commit suicide as well as a bit of weird 3d rotation which I'll have to make more of later
i plan to make it very easy to edit so there'll be a lot of variables for stuff like camera offset and maximum velocity and acceleration and hitbox size and jump height etc. etc., basically i want it to work so that it'd be possible to make a fucking space ship without adding any code at all and only changing variables (ok antigravity stuff might be a bit of a stretch)
