for those who dont know the Hanahaki disease, its a fictional disease where a character coughs up and/or vomit flowers

the disease is caused when the character loves another character which doesn't return the feelings

there are only two cures for the disease, the first cure is that the character's crush will like them back, then the flowers will go away, the second cure is s u r g e r y, but when the doctors remove the flowers, the character's love for the other character will go away

the name comes from the japanese words hana which means 'flower' and hakimasu, which means 'to throw up'

Susie has the disease in my AU, bc she saw Sammy with her arch-enemy, Victoria Lockhart, when she got home from school, she started coughing up Sammy's favourite flowers, Baby Blue Eyes aka Nemophila

Susie's mother didn't want disgusting flower petals around the house (Susie comes from a mafia family, and her mom is kinda judgy and abusive to Susie, and Susie is the youngest child), and after they did further research, Susie's mom said that she was gonna need to go surgery right now, but Susie refuses, bc she s c a r e d of needles, so her mom let her have until the end of the week to solve it by herself

then rumours went around the school that they knew Susie has the disease, then Susie got bullied by Vicky (nickname for Victoria), and it was all part of Vicky's plan

Vicky actually PLANNED to get Susie ill, and she wanted her dead, it was all part of the plan-

Susie didn't want Sammy to know, but every time Susie's near Sammy, she'll cough flowers, and Sammy gets suspicious

she managed to hide the flowers when her time was up, and her family wasn't suspicious, but Sam and Norms were

she kept the disease up to the Inky Aftermath, AND SHE DIDNT EVEN DIE YET-
