To start let’s answer some questions non of you asked!

Where did Vix get the skulk? Was it a born genetic trait orrr?

The answer to that is- corruption! To start- Vix is not at all a skulk hybrid, Vix is a ram/goat hybrid and mainly shows the features of a ram. Vix gained the skulk by isolating themselves in a cave prior to learning they were immortal to think stuff through, unknowingly moving into skulk.

Well that doesn’t make sense!

This idea is still very roughly thought out- I originally saw this idea from Owen in one of his life episodes for an smp (I’m so blanking on the name help-) and basically I went ‘oh lalala this is a cool concept and lowkey would be a badass design.. heh… steals from the rich-‘

No but I made sure that my lore and the lore of Owen did not line up and I briefly saw the idea of a skulk hybrid and was like woahhh.. lowkey type shi frfr.. and simply began forming that idea for vixen! The whole concept of the skulk corrupting vixen is like intrusive thoughts yk? Like Technoblade’s chat/ the voices or something like that. I simply decided- hey! Let’s have skulk corrupt vixen and make them more Impulsive with explosives and death. Take uhhh kpop-demon hunters for example! With gwi-ma! He uses people’s hidden and vulnerable thoughts against them and so does the skulk in this concept! Instead of stealing souls though it’s more of spreading the corruption so the warden can then roam free to do whatever evil and stuff.

how come Vix didn’t cave in sooner!

I cannon Vix to be very strong and very closed off. It takes a lot to get to Vix, and though vixen will never admit it. What got them to cave in- was there family. More-so Jayden and Mike in specific. Vixen wasn’t really there necessarily for there kids and will forever regret that hence forth why they have been trying to bond SO much more to make up with lost time. That was was closed off and hidden. Once the skulk learned that it pulled on the strings and vixen collapsed. Fell for the voices as long as there family was ensured safety.

I like to think of vixen as a puppet and the skulk is the puppeteer. They’re attached to strings and once you know what the right ones to pull are? Vixen will do whatever it takes to ensure safety. Vix isn’t naive and knows they’re being manipulated but simply can’t bring themselves to care because there family is happy and that’s all that matters to them. Vixen likes to put on this big tough guy act but has what I like to call an Achilles heel of the brain. You find that one weak point and it’s over. It so happens that the skulk found it and abused the hell out of it.

Let’s compare vixen to rumi rq- when rumi turns half demon or wtv in that crash out scene, that’s how vixen looks when the skulk is like ‘heyyy bestieeeee…. So uhmmm we’re gonnna have to kill this guy or wtv….’

yk? And that’s why vixens face is somewhat corrupt. I dont imagine vixen having a corrupted voice but I do imagine them sounding a bit like either Nya or harumis voice with a bit more of a #^%<^^% accent. (Mweueheheh you don’t get to know about vixen’s heritage until I write that for you…)

Anywayyyy- I felt like writing this just incase the concept was a bit confusing- I hope i made it less confusing..
