Are you ready to clone some games? This time it's in the style of the glorious James Earl Cox on August 28-30! #CloneJamJames

What’s this?

Don’t you know what CloneJam is yet? It’s a series hosted by the amazing James Earl Cox where you’ve got to make a game in a certain developer’s style, and this upcoming one is definitely a treat. It’s none other than the curator himself, James!

Who’s that?

What?! You don’t know who James Earl Cox is? THE James Earl Cox? He’s a mastermind in the guise of a game developer, and a lot of interesting stuff has come out of that mysterious noggin of his.

James just keeps on making games. In fact there’s over 50 of them on his Game Jolt page that you can play now, for free. The list of digital wizardry keeps increasing in size and wackiness - you have to give these games a spin. Not familiar with his work? I’ll give you a little insight into his head… or at least I’ll try.

I’m a Little Teapot

EnviroGolf

You Don’t Know the Half of It: Fins of the Father

An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge

Snot City

Temporality

Cat Licker Alpha

I want in!

All you need to do is add the hashtag #clonejamjames in you game’s description on August 28-30, and then you’re in! More information about the jam can be found here. Make James proud, alright?
