Even the slightest bit of dread, I feel all of it. The thing won't get out of my mind or wherever I go. I sat down at Starbucks with my friend Dave to get my mind off things. There it was, playing pretend as a barista. Nobody sees it. I pointed it out to Dave, and he said there was nothing there. I described my situation and what I saw to him, and he seemed pretty shocked. Only I can see it.

It switched places to behind me, and so I tried to make my move. I got out of my seat, and went to the table where it was sitting. I put my hand on its shoulder to grab their attention, but believe it or not... I felt the touch. My hand didn't pass through. Even Dave and other people witnessed it.

Oh. Right. I'm getting ahead of myself. Hello, everybody! It's me once again. You guys know the /x/ thread that had a Mega link to some .rar file named "Cenotaph TRUE (64bit)?" It was deleted a few days ago. Something like "this file breaks our guidelines." So, the "disturbing" content said to be contained in this version was true. Unless it was a false takedown, but my gut says no.

I talked with an anon who saw the PewPewNowYouDie video and downloaded the file to their "burner laptop," and they were kind enough to just... give me the laptop for free. We met up outside the police station, broad daylight, neutral ground. He handed me this scuffed Dell in a black backpack. Wouldn’t even make eye contact. And then he said "Be careful, man." before walking off.

So now it's sitting in my apartment. I’m not going in blind. Not this time. I’m setting up VPN chains, spinning up a couple VMs, and air-gapping my main PC. I don’t even trust the power cord, so I’m running it off an external battery until I’m sure it won’t fry me through the wall.

If this "anon" really isn't trolling me like it's "Further Confusion's Closed" 2006, I think we might finally have a download link for this version again. Obviously, without the traumatizing content. I'm thinking of replacing them with cat pictures instead.
