ASAPRS #1.

Welcome to the first episode of Astor's Super Amazing Post Ranting Sessions. I am your host, Astor, now lets get to talking.

Let's begin with our first section, the music leaderboard. Feel free to put on some music. To start off, we have our Top 100 Rocks of the 2000's. Keep in mind, all the music here is being presented for a reason. Think about what it means. Give all credit to those who are responsible for the music and those who uploaded their videos.

#100. Paralyzer, Finger 11.

#99. The Middle, Jimmy Eat World.

#98. Train, Drops of Jupiter.

Allow me to introduce the first section, story hour!

Recently, a developer buddy and I have had some turmoil, especially because he finds me 'annoying' and 'useless.' This is like someone at school telling you you're 'annoying' or 'nobody likes you,' to put it that way. Him and I have resolved the issue, but it's still emphasized that that is how he feels. The best mentality to have to this is, so be it. Simply put, you're never going to please anybody, and someone will always find you annoying. Perfection is simply an illusion we sell ourselves on because we feel we do not fit into society, which really nobody will ever fit into society. Welcome to the real world, a cruel, screwed up place where nothing will ever go your way, but the way your life continues is if you choose that is okay or if it is not okay. To continue with the developer buddy, him and I have had this argument in the past and it's been happening more often recently. Regardless of how he feels, I still think he's really awesome and he's one of the best developers I know. No matter what I do, he will always feel the same way about me, that I'm annoying and worthless. I'm sure this sounds familiar to a lot of you out there, doesn't it? Might be more persistent in some lives more than other's and whatnot, but it's the way our brains work! Yes, our super complex brains cannot figure out a reason why we find these people so annoying, it's just natural for us! Why try to please anyone when you know deep down that it doesn't really matter what people think of you!? Well, it does matter how people think of you, because it's the way our lives work. If people like you, you will be successful, and if not, well then that's when other things come into play. In order to be liked more, it really depends on what you need to do to change yourself, but you need to keep in mind there will always be one or two people that will never, ever like you! You may never understand why, but you don't need to! No matter how much we try, some things will just never change. It's like trying to change math, 1 + 1 = 2, dude + chick + bed = a liability in very tiny clothes! Always use a condom my friends! Simply put, there's some things you will never change, ever, and you need to accept that. Don't be a people pleaser.

Let's open up some fan mail! Unfortunately, we only have one letter. Compose a comment and use 'Reply!' to get a response from yours truly!

From @Newton_Models ,

Uhhh. I guess we can talk about friends groups or something. The one I’m in has drama every once in a while but most of the time it’s very chill. So how’s your friend group and what’s your experience lol.

My experience with friend groups is iffy, as I don't belong solidly in one group, I fit into many groups lightly. Drama is inevitable, some of my groups have almost daily drama, while others have almost none. A 'friend group' is really a misleading term, as although you feel you fit in with them, none of you fit in anywhere, which is why you all bond together. Do not take this wrongly, because this is all groups and how all people feel, and it's the way our world works, our cruel, screwed up world! Thank you for being the first on the show to send in some fan mail!

Now for the next segment, a word of advice!

Word of advice, always play an instrument of some form. Although you may not enjoy music, instruments are an attractive trait and make you look better than many others. Another thing too is it takes some free time off your hands. This sounds bad I know, but it's a good thing. Idle hands are the tool of the devil. Keep your hands busy, whether that's playing an instrument or masturbating to pictures of your step sister at 1 in the morning! Ha, I make myself laugh sometimes. In all seriousness, keeping yourself busy will always, and I mean always, keep you out of trouble. Stay out of trouble, I mean it.

For our final segment of tonight, let's talk about the state of this platform!

Tonight, we will highlight the recent controversy around the boosts! First of all, Game Jolt's response to the situation is pathetic. I mean, c'mon man, making a post, hearing feedback, just to disable the comments on it? The whole point of an audience is to hear what they have to say, not to silence them! For those who don't know, Game Jolt was actually my first ever social media platform, and it was way different back then. Back when firesides were a thing, ad spots for the site didn't exist, the good ol' days! We are far from that, and this site has simply gone downhill. If I were managing the site, I would look for more money making options and cost cuts, such as cutting down on creators, changing the creator requirements, and other general cuts. As a user, I don't enjoy the ads, but I understand why they are there. Although they are 'ruining the site,' it is what they need to do to say afloat unfortunately.

That's all for tonight viewers! Remember to compose a comment with 'Reply!' to get a reply in the next episode! Stay quirky! These segments are not set in stone and will likely be interchanged with other segments!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

"Our work is never over" they said.

Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^

What you all think

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

One of the most critical update for Sunblaze demo. Now you are able to pet a cat! Finally!

Demonstration of the spells and their effects :)!

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)
