Hey HCN followers!
First of all, thank you so much for the high reception for the past few months. It means a lot to me to see people have interest in works I am highly passionate about.
Secondly, I would like to announce something that would keep everyone's interest. The "Hack's Custom Night Pre-Release Q&A Document!", a Questions-&-Answers event where you ask questions regarding this game during its development.

Third, I am well aware that there is not much to show at the moment, as even from the gameplay screenshot in this devlog does not show a whole lot. However, I can assure you all that there is a lot of things I do not want to show that would spoil your experience if-or-when this gets a full release, as HCN is not entirely a simple Custom Night game.
I will clarify that just because I am making this, does not mean HCN is close to being finished. In fact, it is still in VERY early development. (Yes, even after almost four years.) The main reason why this game is taking so long is because of how faulty its early stages are, especially the concepts. For the majority of development, I have been very careful on what should be apart of the final product; characters, art, programming, and a lot more going on.
Another reason why I am making this is not only to keep people stay in touch with this game, but to let you all know that the concept stages are almost done, and that development is becoming much faster than before.
