I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I'm working on an Undertale mod project. The problem with Undertale modding is that, technically, ''you can't create open-source mods'' in a certain way, so I need to find a way to legally create something like Forge / Fabric, but a version for Undertale. However, it’s been ages since I’ve touched Undertale modding, so I need to refresh my memory on the concept of injecting the mod, and it will only work for the Windows version. Even though Undertale is natively supported on Linux, I tested it with Proton in the past to try modding, and it worked fine because the decompiled version of Undertale only works with the Windows version since the datawin files aren’t exactly the same

& also I'd like my modloader to be open source in legally way as well, which is a challenge, so I'll need to do some more research

Since I found FNF too complicated to create mods and such, I decided to make my own rhythm game
