I've been waiting for 4 years to visit one of my greatest friends: Midagames. He lives more than 800 km from me... but the distance was only a relative problem for us. I wrote to him on Gamejolt exactly 4 years ago, on March 27, 2020. It was also thanks to the corona virus that I was able to meet him and write to him. I complimented him on how good his games were, relatively similar to mine. He thanked me and since then... there hasn't been a day when we didn't talk.

As the days passed, we unexpectedly bonded our relationship more and more, he filled my constant need for a kind and nice person who was by my side at all times. I needed a real friend.

We've been through a lot and it was always nice to know that he was always by my side and that he wouldn't abandon me.

What else did I want more from life...?

Well, see him irl of course.

A friend like that can't stay confined to a screen... and that's why I embarked on a journey to visit him.

I was with him from March 27th to April 2nd. We had a lot of fun and even though I separated from him a few hours ago, I already miss him so much.

It was what I didn't know I needed.
