Attempting to make the game more accessible...

This game was originally designed for IWBTG veterans and a community of gamers that were already accustomed to what FTG (Fangame The Game) has to offer. However, there are many out there that aren’t familiar with IWBTG and its particular style and mechanics, so I’ve been doing what I can to help newcomers get a fair crack at the game.

I’ve updated the description to better point out some of the information that I think new players will need to know. I’ve also created a new “introductory” video that people can watch if they want to get some helpful information that way.

Eventually, I might be able to export a new build of the game with a few helpful changes, such as changing the default keys or something, but there’s no guarantee on that. As of now, players can easily rebind keys in-game.

If any of you want to suggest tips for making the game more accessible to people through well-presented information (not by changing the game itself, for now), let me know. I put so much time and effort into this game, and soooo many people don’t get to see it. Most people only get a couple of screens in before giving up and there’s so much more to see!

While FTG is meant to be brutal, there's an early-game wall jumping segment that I think was a bit much for new players, so I've made it a more approachable as of v0.110.3. You're welcome!

This Satuday we invite to watch another #speedpainting of our artist Daniel Faiad.

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).
