I’m back from my brief break, and I’ve started updating the game again. Right now I don’t have much to show right now, but I figured I would let my followers know the reason why I’m making this game.
As many of you have probably figured out by now, this game is more about telling a story then a Fan Game, but rest assured there is a reason why Matpat and Stephanie are the protagonists. Saying so now would be a spoiler however, but please bare with me, the explanation will be at the end of the Chapter 3.
This game is actually a story I have had in mind for a long time, but every time I tried to put it to paper, my ADHD would kick in and my attention would go in 10 different directions, most times towards a video game of some sort. That’s is the reason why I’m telling the story I wished to share in this game, because I find I am able to focus my attention on something related to video games. Everytime I play thru for testing it makes me feel good thinking “I made this.”
The title of the game “GTLive: An Untold Story” works so well for it. Because its a story I haven’t been able to tell about about an untold story. Matpat’s early Game Theory Video’s actually helped a lot because it showed me that everyone has to start somewhere, and each time he talks about his early videos in his streams, he always said he was proud of them because of the amount of work he put into them. I want to put as much work into this game as Matpat did in his videos, I want this to be something I can look back on and be proud of, and finally I want this to be something that people will enjoy and share.

Anyways, the next update is most likely going to drop on Friday before the Stream, but it will only be a small update that isn’t going to add much to the gameplay. I’ve received some feedback (One of which comes from a secret fan) and most were rather positive feedback around Chapter 2, so I won’t be touching much of Chapter 2, but I will be doing a complete dialog overhaul of Chapter 1. This includes:

• Complete change of The Creator’s dialog. This includes giving a short explanation of why he choose Stephanie and Matpat to abduct (Though its not a very good explanation) This change is to show the Creator’s love for telling stories.

• Matpat will not trust Gnarlus immediately anymore. This is to show Matpat’s distrust towards all things convenient.

• Stephanie and Matpat will bicker a little bit more.

As for when Chapter 3 will drop, I’m not entirely sure unfortunately, but I will post updates on my progress.
