So, Fell Leader here 4 days earlier! The “Battle Sprite Debate” poll had an unexpected twist, so lemme explain:
Basically, the colorful choice, the one that was gonna win with a 49% of choices, cannot be done due to problems in the designs, in the programming and lorewise.
MegaTemmie found out there was an actual reason as for why the battle sprites in Undertale are black and white, so I’ll briefly explain it: In Photoshop Flowey’s battle, his sprites are colorful, so why is he more special than the others? Because he’s made out of 6 human souls, which also have color, unlike the rest of monsters which only have monster souls, which are white.
That could mean the monsters have black and white battle sprites due to their monster souls also being colorless. (Thanks to MegaTemmie for telling me that)
In which case, it wouldn’t make a lot of sense for the monsters to have colorful in-battle sprites, except for the blue and orange attacks or stuff like that, but those have to be different to show they have effects, blah, blah, blah… The point is, I had to go with the SECOND most voted option.

Classic Underfell-like red enemies, exept for Flowey (because he has no soul) and when enemies can be spared, which is also pretty used in UF interpretations.
