I know this is quite odd since idk if Alex/Me and Metal Alex would even be besties at all but I/Alex have been giving out bestie badges to her friends and such and thought it be nice to give Metal Alex one for fun ^^

Metal Alex is just a bit confused why she's been given a bestie badge as she (in canon) was recently built but she'll learn what besties and friends are at some point (keep in mind that despite the look, Metal Alex isn't really evil. Sure she may look a bit dangerous but that's only when she's in battle mode or something like that while most of the time she's a neutral robot who does things when needed and has some things to learn about)
