I’ve implemented 3 difficulty levels and the first boss. Its graphics are not final and I’m not sure about the mechanics, but I think it’s a good approximation compared to what I had in mind.
Also, I’ve made public the first beta so you can play the first level of the game, which is almost completed.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
