Wow, Creepiverse is still alive?
Sadly yes, and I have just released the new update after over a year of absence (no thanks to school and exams)
[Change Log]
Engine:
-New Movement Engine
Characters feel 100x better to controll and move around
Try for yourself, you can really feel the change
-New WalljumpAllows for better traversal around the maps (aswell as looking cool)
-New Menu ScreensNew menus follow a more traditional move and select system when compared to the old clunky “press this button” menus.
-Bug FixesAs the game has almost been built from the ground up, almost all major and known bugs of the previous versions have been
fixed. (This includes the infamous off screen enemy glitch)Hundreds of small quality of life changes that I cant be bothered to list
Characters:
[Eyeless Jack]
Shield hitbox enlarged and improved
Allows for more consistant bullet shielding
[Jeff the Killer]
New Knives now drop from the air to refill stock
This change makes Jeff much less of a situational character
Knife kills now add score to the counter
Due to the new enemy spawning systems, the knife is no longer as broken and OP so now it can be used to gain score rather
than group up a bunch of enemies.
[Laughing Jack]
Totally New and Remade Teleporting Ability
Jack can now either teleport to the left or the right rather than just to the middle of the screen
This change makes Jack way more capable as he can now teleport behind enemies backs with ease.
[Smiling Owl]
Remade flight system and Ability
Smiling Owl now has the ability to basically throw themselves across the screen.
New ability is more fun and satisfying to use.
Enemies:
Cop bullet speed reduced
Makes enemy more predictable
Cops no longer shoot all at the same time
Before hand all the cop enemies would fire their weapons at the exact same moment, so surviving was more about learning the
timing rather than watching each individual cop for an opening.This makes the game feel way less predictable
Turret enemy now blinks and glows green before firing.
This allows the player to be aware of an incoming attack rather than just guessing.
Modes:
-New Tutorial Mode
Made to simplify tutorial aswell as introduce new elements
[Endless Mode]
-New Endless Mode level
Everytime you enter endless mode there is a 50/50 chance you will be placed in a new level.
New level focuses alot more on verticality
New level has new “launcher” gimmick, collide with the launcher for a mini push which allows for level traversal
-New Difficulty SystemThe difficult increases every 15 points rather than the previous version’s seemingly random difficulty curve.
Yeah, those are some changes alright (if you can bother to read them)
