Biomes and terrain generation are next.


I've implemented a brand new height map generator that makes better use of sine waves. It's as close to perlin noise as I can be bothered to make, and to be honest I much prefer the results I get from this because it's FAR more controllable and configurable.

I'm using a custom-modified pseudorandom cycle engine originally by DadOfMrLog.

Biomes I think I can implement:

  • Plains

  • Forest

  • Birch Forest

  • Meadow

  • Snowy Peaks

oh... they arent ready. those silly grass blocks and dirt blocks and stone blocks arent ready for how GENERATED they are gonna be.
