BlackCube Jam: the voting session is opened until Wed. 28th, December 2016

Hello everyone!

BlackCube Jam 2016 was finished on Sunday 18th at midnight (timezone France), and gave birth to 6 projects. We like all of them and we’re very happy of what we’ve been able to create in only 6 days. Some of these games may continue to be developed in 2017 (Inheritance, Myha realtime and ATOS??? - we still don’t know!) and we really need your full support to encourage us. We’re not asking for money, just some nice words if you like these games, and help us spread the word! We know, it usually requires en effort to download these short unfinished games, because there are already plenty of great finished products everywhere for you to play. But the games of tomorrow can also start small on such places such as GameJolt, and that’s a good reason to give a try to our new creation and share your ideas with us!

Among these 6 games created during the Jam, we will chose 2 of them and their developer will receive a special prize:

  • 1st prize will depend of the result of your votes! You choose the best game by voting, and we send the winner a physical copy of ANTERRAN books 1 and 2.

  • 2nd prize will be chosen by myself as the author of the Black Cube series. I will choose the game I like the most and will send a DVD copy of ASA: A Space Adventure to its developer.

The choice will be tough!
At the end of the voting session, the results will be displayed on the homepage of the series:
http://www.theblackcube.fr/blackcubejam
The winners will be contacted by email.

We hope you were interested in this first Jam we hosted, and we’ll try to improve some of the issues we could have met here for future events.

You can find the released games, and vote for them here:

Thanks a lot, and Merry Christmas to all of you!

This is my Donkey Kong for #FanartFriday I did it about 20 years ago, when I was a fan of Donkey Kong Country on Super Nintendo. It's been my favorite platformer with Yoshi's Island for a long while So nostalgic of that time!

Thanks and Happy New Year!

#GJAsks What is my favorite game series? I'd choose Final Fantasy without a doubt, all games - but the PS1 games more specifically.

'ASA: A Space Adventure' was the very first game I created. This 2d adventure was made of 3d renders used as background images. The more time passes, the more I want a full 3d remake... Here a quick test in Unity for the motivation

This was the first trailer of our upcoming platformer game Bionic Slammer, that was first revealed on Steam. After a few months of hard work and silence, we hope to give more news very soon, and a playable demo here on GJ https://store.steampowered.com/app/2246570/Bionic_Slammer/

It's small and simple but I really like this sheet that shows the mood/atmosphere in our upcoming game Bionic Slammer

Tommy and Seb, the 2 brothers from my world 'My Magical Village', seem to have played and enjoyed famous Nintendo games...

Stargate? No, the Kunci!
