Hey all! I got a little update on progress to post.
So as of right now, all the currently included animatronics that attack at the door will now have a new means of indicating danger level. Depending on how close a character is to attacking, the lights will increasingly flicker and give out (which should make the jumpscares coming from the off lights a bit less jarring). While this can give a better idea of how long you have until someone makes a move, it’s probably best to not wait until the last stage of flicker… especially with some more aggressive characters.
Alongside this, Max is now getting his needed vent fixes. Still need to test it to make sure everything works, but for now it seems it’s working. (Hopefully now this can be the end of the “ghost Max” in vent 2.)
I also made a fix to a bug that I stumbled upon (and that hopefully noone has experienced yet in the demo… >->). From now on, you won’t be able to put down the cams until you are off of the boot up screen.
Anyways, the game is still in the works. Gonnna be focusing on polishing the current contents for the time being.
