BNC Community Minigame Devlog 9

This is an actual devlog lol.

I won't promise anything but as of now progress is very fast. That may change in five seconds but I'm feeling confident!

I hope it's not too bad that I'm taking the game in a slightly different direction. It is still using stealth mechanics, but it's a lot more active than passive.

At first it was only going to be a small minigame, something to complete in 10 minutes or something to repeat over and over again for a better highscore. As it went on however, I realized that it's perfectly fit for something more story-driven. With Meat Hair Afton and Bidy as the main characters I was able to fit in a lot of good stuff that adds to my FNaF based miniverse. I also used this project to practice and improve, especially in the graphics department but also when it comes to using the game engine. I like the results so far.

A few months still remain but I want to make sure that I'm not rushing my game last minute. For that reason I won't announce a release date, only when the game is 99% done and the testing phase starts.

I hope you are still somewhat excited for this BNC spinoff (that's what it basically is now)!

OC from a few years ago. Name ideas?

8.888 followers! Stayed up late just to catch that satisfying number. :D

hi.

Any ideas for a name for this guy? I have one already, but maybe you got something better than "Brrrummmsel"

Shoutout to one of my highest quality assets I've ever made for a portfolio a few years ago

Hey, Godot users. This collision setup is beyond stupid. What do you do instead? Please help me :)

RPG eventually. I'm still new to Godot but I'm currently making a lot of small test games (successfully, kinda :D)

WOW THANKS HOW NICE

I just discovered a floating blob on the back of Withered N. F. Freddy's Head and I can't keep that to myself.

I think some of the magic from learning how to model partially thanks to FNaF stems from making up machinery from simple geometrical shapes that might look complex from further away but makes absolutely no sense. It's a lot of fun! :)
