Bosses, Side-Quests and Minor Implementations


HEEEY Guys,

I have been working binge working (yes that’s a word look it up )the whole week. Let’s start with the first thing.

  1. Bosses

Every area in Fighter of EVE will contain at least one boss. The boss of the first area is called MEGA-Slime (top picture). The other bosses are yet to be implemented. In many area’s you have to defeat a boss first before you can proceed.

Every Boss will reward you after defeating him. The first boss rewards you with a new sword (sword upgrade). You can then proceed into the cave (well you can once you got the pickaxe from the store, but the cave enemies are ridiculously strong so I wouldn’t recommend it).

  1. Side-Quests

Side Quests are contained in small mini games. For example one of the side quests is going to be a fishing game where you have to catch at least 5 fish to proceed. This idea is not fully implemented yet so things can still take a turn.

  1. Minor changes

-got rid of quick backdrops
-remade villager sprites
-remade story frame (WIP)

Fighter of Eve recently got its first demo release!

In FoE, you play as an unknown hero, defeating enemies and helping the people, whilst trying to figure out where all the creatures come from.

Battle Screen is DONE! - Working on the Shop now. Very early WIP

Quick Update: I've been working on some new backgrounds for the Battle Frame! In other news, I am now at a point where there are no new features that need to be added to the demo. There's still a lot of bug fixing and improving to do though. Stay tuned!

New Fighter Sprite. Thoughts?

I am current working on a Patch for Fighter of Eve which will introduce Widescreen Support (1280x768 resolution), and hopefully some big fixes. More info soon! #gamedev #fighterofeve #wip
