New Chart Editor

In every PC version so far, the only way to make charts without manually typing them in is for the game to play the song during chart creation and you press the arrow keys. The game will grab the exact frame that you pressed a key and place it into the chart save file accordingly. This is obviously a really bad way of doing it as going back and editing existing charts is impossible without manually going in and editing the save file by hand, and you can't have the notes frame perfect unless you're a superhuman who can hit every note frame perfect while making the chart.

So, the next update is introduce a proper chart creator! You will be able to make, edit, and delete charts from your save file. there will be an adjustable grid the notes will be locked to, so making charts align with the music will be so much easier. And of course, if you mess up and accidentally place an arrow, all you'll need to do is right click it to delete it.

Sadly, custom chart creation is still PC only until I'm able to find a way to put it on mobile, if that ever happens.

Mobile Controls

Playing the minigame on mobile will hopefully be way more comfortable. There will be large arrows on both sides of the screen that you'll tap to play each chart. Getting used to these controls will still take a lot of practice, but it's way better than the system of either tapping the arrows at the top of the screen, using a virtual D-Pad, or needing to hook up a Bluetooth keyboard.

If the placement of the arrow controls don't fit you, you'll be able to change the layout.

More Songs

The way I implement songs into the game in the current public version is really tedious and time consuming. What I did was just make events for the game to write every single note of each chart individually. Now I can basically just paste the chart I created into a list object, add one or two events, and the chart is embedded. Because of that, expect way more songs in the next update!

Hopefully I can get this update out within the next day or two. There will be more in this update than what I've shown so far, but what I've shown are the huge main features of the update.
