My next shift was late at night, some restaurants in my city do in fact stay open at night. I had to creep through the ally ways to avoid assassins trying to stop me, out on the streets is too out in the open. I heard footsteps behind me and someone said: "the flashlight isn't working". I used the time I had until they smacked it to crawl into a dumpster to the side. I heard one say "He's not there" and then the other "Maybe he went into the streets". After the footsteps slowly faded I hopped out of the dumpster and continued on my way to the restaurant. I've been lucky so far, but I fear when that luck ends and the assassins succeed. Everything else went well that shift though, I hope the same for the next shift.
