can someone tell me the basics on how to do sprite 3d, like the way daves777 did it, im dumb as hell (if that wasn't obvious) and need a simpler engine, or for i to just make it myself idk.

Im working on my own halo project in scratch, it uses old technology, but i think it works and looks great for something i whipped-up in about 2 days.
