CAVE! CAVE! next episode is coming soon indeed, MEANWHILE...

Howdy CAVE! CAVE! followers and all Game Jolt friends,

it’s been a while, huh? We apologize for the lack of updates regarding new episode(s) of our Jheronimus Bosch-inspired “art-fi” visual novel - especially now that the “Bosch Year” has come (2016 marks the 500th anniversary of the Dutch painter’s death) - BUT good news is that we’re apparently unstucking from the uncreative issues that so far have complicated the release of CAVE! CAVE! DEUS VIDET. Episode 1 (which you may have spotted “live” at festivals here and there by the way). So basically take this news as an announcement of an announcement coming soon (and again as an apology in view of all the good reception our “unconventional visual novel” has had, starting right from this rad community)!

Speaking of “unconventional visual novels” and blatantly self-promoting our own work, we would be oh so grateful if you gave a try to our latest work here on Game Jolt: title is Venti Mesi (“Twenty Months”), a collection of 20 playable stories about a topic we hold particularly dear for many reasons: Italian Resistance against Nazi-Fascism during the Second World War.

Venti Mesi is a pretty different game compared to CAVE! CAVE! in terms of style, content and overal mood, yet our hope is you will recognize in it that same “touch” we try to give to all our works: the intent to make (sorry Merritt Kopas for stealing the title of your tremendous and highly-recommended book about Twine games!) “videogames for humans”.

You can download Venti Mesi right here and HEY! HEY! HEY! vote for its selection for GJFest here, if you will!!!

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Another house i made long time ago.

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Why walk when you can jump?

Call it 'wrong turn'!🚫 The feeling of running into a house with only one exit🚪, and being doomed to die. #pixelart #pixelartist #pixelartwork #art #pixel #indiegame #IndieGameDev #indieartist

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

not the greatest house, but it's a house! :D
