Changes Of Plans...


Hello there,

Well, too much time as passed since the last time I comment on this game. And I really have changed. I got better, at least in pixel art…and learned a very important lesson on game design: make small plans in the beginning and get bigger over time.

With this lesson I decided to make a pause with the redisign of Hoperay. The plan is still on, because I like shmups, but not for now.

But I will make some simple changes with this one though, to leave it acceptable. Like a title screen (not that awful text), some tweaks, HUD changes, etc. If I have the time, also I will make some graphics changes too, because it’s my strongest point now (look Indievelopment Quest as an example. I made all the art there.)

I will post in a few days or a week about those changes, so stay tuned.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
