Chapter 8. The Missing Experiment

In the early morning, our main characters had breakfast and talked. Neiko joined them, as Charlie, Shani, and the other hybrids were sleeping, and Christopher was minding his own business. Everyone greeted Neiko and gave him a seat, but Neiko politely declined and asked Bondee's parents to give him some unnecessary newspapers. Friends did not understand why Neiko needed these newspapers and wanted to ask him, but he immediately left when they gave him a newspaper. Bondee asked his parents why Neiko needed newspapers. Bondee's mom said it was for Charlie. Charlie is one of the most energetic, funny, mischievous of all. He likes to make all sorts of figures out of paper.

In the afternoon, when our guys were in the clearing, a paper airplane flew out of the bushes. Charlie and Shani came out of the bushes. The guys appreciated Charlie's airplane and praised him. Charlie thanked them and invited them to play hide-and-seek. Everyone agreed, and Charlie started counting. Everyone ran away, but Pablo and the Grizzly ran and fell into the pit. Herzok watched this spectacle and followed them.

When Pablo and Grizzly opened their eyes, they saw that this was not a pit, but an abandoned laboratory underground.

- hey, assholes! Well, shall we play?

Pablo and Grizzly turned around and noticed the Herzok. Herzok looked evil and insidious. Pablo accidentally touched the switch with his hand and... Did the light appear? .. But how? How can there be light in this laboratory?! There are no answers to this question. The guys began to study the laboratory. There were many doors with numbers in the corridor, but one of them had the number 065. Inside the room, everything was in ruins, and smiles were painted on the walls, and in red.

Pablo and Grizzly didn't answer anything and decided to still explore the lab, but suddenly... Psychic laughter was heard from the corridor and our main characters with Herzok stopped and began to listen. The laughter was still going on and getting closer, then Herzok could not stand it and went into the corridor to find out who was laughing like that.. He didn't see anyone and wanted to tell the boys that there was no one, but someone attacked him sharply! The guys left the room to save the Herzok, but they saw what it would be like in nightmares. Charlie was sitting on the Herzok and mentally laughing. Herzok decided to push him, but he shouldn't have done it. Charlie grabbed his hand and bit it off. Herzok screamed loudly in pain and asked Pablo and Grizzly to help him, but Charlie turned his head 180° and the boys saw his yellow eyes with blue pupils, and a big smile with sharp teeth. The boys had a question.. HOW DID CHARLIE NOT DIE FROM TURNING HIS HEAD 180°?! Charlie stood up and turned his head back, now he was standing behind Pablo and the Grizzly. He turned sharply to attack them, but suddenly a shot was heard and Charlie fell. The guys looked at the one who made the shot and it was... Christopher. Christopher walked up to Charlie and picked him up, and Pablo, Grizzly and Herzok took him to the exit. Christopher explained to the boys that Charlie was created in the lab and was an escapee. They were doing experiments on him and other experiments there, but suddenly everyone started going crazy and killed the entire staff of the laboratory. Charlie was 4 years old at the time and was picked up by one family, but they later died in a fire and Christopher had to take Charlie to him. When the guys with Christopher came out, all the guys were waiting for them with a scared look, except for Fourly, when they saw that Herzok had no arm

- Hey jerk! Your arm was finally torn off? Fourly asked happily .

- Shut your mouth, you fool!-Herzok barked and ran towards the hospital.

Christopher asked guys don't to tell anyone about what happened... After all, because of this story, Charlie can be destroyed. The guys promised him and went to their home

(a little fun fact:Charlie is very flexible, so he can turn his head 180°; he is half cat and half horse)
