Unlike in Undertale, Sans is not one to joke around. Being wanted for treason is no laughing matter, after all. Call him lazy, but he's got a whole lot more backbone this time around.
He has every reason to hate your guts, and he never made a promise to keep you safe. Stay on your toes and watch your back. You never know what may be lurking in the shadows.
