In the entire Alpha trilogy his mission is to search M. Bison, in Alpha 3 (this game), he is investigating Shadaloo and its connections on his own.

He is actually Guile's master and best friend, therefore he plays very similar to him, he's a projectile zoner and charge character with the same Sonic Boom (although mastered) and also Somersault Shell (anti-close range). In this game, he gains a literal dash (Quick Step) and also a kick for it (Knee Bazooka), also only avaliable with his A-ism and V-ism. His Super Combos consist of a Sonic Boom combo (Sonic Break), a Somersault Shell combo (Somersault Justice) and a close range combo (Crossfire Blitz)
