In the year 2038, in a time of which there were no countries, no war, no enemies, just one nation: Valseer. But on August 3rd, 2038, an astronomer discovered a large meteor coming straight for earth. Before hitting Earth, the meteor burst through the moon, causing natural disasters to occur before the crash of the meteor. The meteorite landed in Kyoto, of the Japan District, completely demolishing the city. This meteorite, was formed out of an unknown, odd material, and because it was burning from entering the atmosphere of Earth, a toxic gas emitted from the meteorite, spreading into the sky, lingering to other parts of the world. Now, the humans that were quick and privileged enough to get into the Underground Structure known as Depasius now live without Sunlight, Electronics, Internet, and the past. The story follows Kyon Ayako, a 18-year old boy working as a miner in this civilization.
