Hey guys,

So if you have played my games, any of them, from Astrocreep (a game where you are an alien whole crawls up people’s butts to evolve) to Nightmare Fishing Tournament (a game where you are a corpse in the underworld battling evil Hell spawn from the river Styx for a second chance at life) then you know I cover a lot of ground. Am I pushin a message? Maybe. But even I don’t know what that message is. Anyway, my latest game might just ruffle a few feathers ( Pun very much intended )

It’s called ” A Gentleman’s Guide To Cockfighting”.

Now like most of you, I was once very liberal. I’ve never voted, we’re getting there, but for now stow your pitchforks.

I made the game “-The Gentlemans Guide To Cockfighting-” because, in short as an artist I had a very heavy middle finger to lift. I will say now, before I lose courage, that the majority of gamers have no idea how hard it is to make a game, much less a 3D game. Most gamers don’t know the sacrafice.

Boohoo I hear you say. Well fuck, that’s my second point. A lot of gamers are super impatient.

Before you light the aforementioned pitchforks, just hear me out for fuck’s sake.

I love gamers. When I get a chance in between development, which is rare as Hell, I like to play games. And I bitch. But when I do, I say, ” well shit, they didn’t give me a bad experience on purpose”. And I’m right. But I’m still mad.

So before I get too off topic, this gamecock fighting sim…what did I call it again? Oh yes, “The Gentlemans Guide To Cockfighting”….Animal abuse? Career suicide? just what are you trying to say here, Suits?

“Poke’mon in real time…with less variety”. That was my goal. In dong research ( yes real research ) I found some things out about the bloodsport known as cockfighting.

People, this shit used to be considered “The sport of kings”. I could go on, relating how “Chess” is a king’s game, relating to war…but this post has gone on long enough. Due to it’s graphic depiction of horrible things like animal abuse, rape, racism and homophobia, I can see why anyone who plays this game I made might take an issue…but freedom of expression still exist in America. I know that’s not a blank check for mayhem. I accept the backlash, but c’mon guys, enough is enough. It’s ok to have a sense of humor that offends some people. If something bothers you, maybe ask yourself if it’s “real” or not. Ask if any actual person is being hurt. No actual chickens were harmed. No actual groups were oppressed. Its just a game. Maybe play it? And form your own opinion…
